At Signature Dog Training Ltd, we understand that your dog is a valued member of your family. Our goal is to help you confidently include your dog in your everyday life—whether out on walks, during social visits, or at home—without the worry of unwanted behaviour.

Our team specialises in dog obedience and behavioural management, using modern, evidence-based training techniques and equipment to build a balanced, respectful relationship between you and your dog.

Our Training Philosophy

A happy, well-adjusted dog requires:

• Regular exercise – through daily walks and play.
• Obedience training – teaching your dog to listen and respond to basic commands (sit, down, stay, etc.).
• Positive reinforcement – timely praise and rewards to encourage desired behaviour.

For effective training, clear communication and mutual trust are essential. We’ll provide you with a tailored training plan designed to strengthen your bond with your dog, combining practical results with emotional rewards.

Training should always be calm and consistent. Frustration, anger, or harsh methods hinder progress and may create fear rather than understanding. Success depends on daily practice and your commitment to the methods we provide.

Limitation of Liability

While Signature Dog Training Ltd will always use its best efforts to help you and your dog, we make no guarantees or warranties regarding specific outcomes or timeframes.

Each dog learns at an individual pace, and behaviour can vary depending on numerous factors. The advice and strategies provided are designed for your particular situation, but Signature Dog Training Ltd, its trainers, and representatives are not liable for any financial loss, injury, or damages—including but not limited to incidental, consequential, or special damages—arising from training sessions or activities.

Signature Dog Training Ltd maintains a clean occupational, criminal, and insurance record, with no prior claims or disputes related to animal training or conduct.

Owner Responsibilities

By enrolling yourself and/or your dog in training with Signature Dog Training Ltd, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• You voluntarily participate in training activities, understanding that working with animals carries inherent risks.
• You recognise that any dog, regardless of training or environment, has the potential to bite or act unpredictably.
• You assume full responsibility for all risks associated with training, whether in classes, private sessions, residential programs, or self-practice outside trainer supervision.

You agree to waive all claims against Signature Dog Training Ltd, its trainers, and affiliates for injury, loss, or damage to any person, property, or dog resulting from training activities.

You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signature Dog Training Ltd, its employees, and agents from any liability, damages, costs, or legal fees arising from the actions or inactions of yourself, your dog(s), children, or anyone under your care during or after training.

Photography & Media

With your consent, Signature Dog Training Ltd may capture photographs or videos of you and/or your dog during training sessions. These materials may be used for promotional or educational purposes, including on websites and social media, without additional compensation or liability.

If you do not wish for photos or videos to be taken, please inform us in writing prior to training.

Payment Terms

• A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total training fee is required to secure your booking.
• The remaining balance is due 10 days before the first day of your dog’s residential training.
• Failure to pay in full before commencement may result in the cancellation of your booking.
• If your dog is not collected on the agreed date, additional care will be charged at £150 per day (unless otherwise arranged).
• In the event that your dog is not collected within two weeks and no prior arrangement has been made, your dog will be transferred to a registered dog sanctuary for rehoming.

Health & Welfare

While the Kennel Cough vaccination is not a legal requirement, we strongly recommend it. Please note that Kennel Cough is an airborne illness that can be contracted in many environments (parks, shops, other homes) — not just kennels.

Signature Dog Training Ltd will not be held responsible for any cases of Kennel Cough, though we will immediately contact both the owner and a veterinarian should any symptoms arise.

Owners must provide sufficient food for the duration of the dog’s stay, along with feeding instructions. Dogs will be fed according to their usual schedule.

If your dog requires veterinary care during their stay, we will act in their best interest and seek immediate treatment.

• If you do not have pet insurance, you agree to cover all veterinary expenses directly.
• Signature Dog Training Ltd is not responsible for any veterinary costs incurred.

Training updates will be sent via:

• The number of updates you receive will correspond to your selected training package.
• Updates are provided Thursday afternoons
• Please refrain from requesting additional updates outside of these hours unless it is an emergency.
• In case of an emergency, we will contact you first; if unreachable, we will proceed to contact your designated vet.

VIP Packages: include enhanced update frequency within the standard working hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm).

By signing up for or participating in training with Signature Dog Training Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
